Less than a week after Heroes of the Storm's launch event, Millenium is glad to announce its first competition for Heroes : the HOTS TopAchat Tournament. Organized with our partner TopAchat.fr, this competition will bring together 16 of the best european teams that will compete from June 22nd to July 27th for 2 000 € of cash prize. Some of the best european teams are already invited with Team Liquid and Gamers2 as recent finalists of DreamHack Bucharest and Imaginary Gaming as the best French team.

Despite its youth, a lot of teams already had the time to show their skill during the beta. Therefore, 9 teams out of the 16 teams that will take part in this competition, will be invited. The 7 others will have to earn their spot trough two qualifiers on the 13th and 14th of June. As usual for a tournament organized by Millenium, one of those qualifiers will be only open to french teams ( with at least four french players). The other one will be open to all the european teams.

The main competition will run through two phases. The first one is the group phase where the teams will be placed in 4 groups of four in the dual tournament format, matches being played in best of 3. Then, the two best teams of each group will access the second phase of the competition, a single elimination bracket in best of 5 and best of 7 for the final.
