[M]Kaefer : Hi BabyKnight and thank you for this interview. How are you?

[M]BabyKnight : I'm good, how are you? :)

Fine thanks ! You finally qualified yourself this week for Challenger League in season 4 WCS, gratz ! What's your feeling about this?

I was relieved since the qualifier itself was tough. I tend to do well in qualifiers though so I knew I'd make it. That said, I know I belong not only in Premier, but I expect high placements in Premier so this had to happen. ;)

And you just eliminated your new teammate, MarineLorD. Did you know him a bit before this game ?

Yeah I know him a little bit as a player, and as a person ofc. He's got some talent, still has a lot to work on though. He's a nice guy, young, a little whiny some times as a lot of Terrans but I'm trying to ignore that. ;D

Are you confident about a return in Premier League?

Yes. I will be very dissapointed if I don't make it. I was in Premier all seasons last year, and I believe I am one of the top foreigners so I would see it as an "upset" if I don't make it in.

With the new « regional lock » of WCS, do you think that you have more chance to do a good performance?

I don't think there will be less Koreans in WCS Europe this year overall, so I don't think that will affect my chances. I do hope to do better than last year though. : )

About the Numericable Millenium House cup, you seemed to be very motivated to participate. Was it to face the big players or to enjoy France again? :)

Both! I like travelling to most other European countries, and France is no exception!

Was it possible to make a better result in this Num. Millenium-house Cup?

Yes. My PvZ just isn't nearly as good as my other matchups right now. Something I am currently working on. I just wasn't ready to face Curious and Solar. Funny story though, after losing to Solar in the tournament I beat him twice on ladder right afterwards.

Have you talked with others players, maybe people you didn't know before?

Yes! I already knew the foreigners there, but I hadn't really talked to Jaedong before. He's actually a really really nice guy! Also great English, I was very surprised. Talked to Solar and Forgg a lot too, all very nice. :) I already knew ForGG already of course. Curious seemed a bit shy.

As we saw all this year, Europe is far from korean's level. Will we compete with Korea one day?

Actually, I don't agree. I don't think the best Europeans are that far from a lot of the strong Koreans. The problems is, there are so many good Koreans, and a lot more of them are travelling to foreign events now. That makes it so much harder. Before 2013, there was usually not that many Koreans playing in our tournaments, which meant that if one foreigner was able to knock one of the few Koreans out, the chances of a foreigner winning the tournament became so much higher. Now, to win a tournament, a foreigner has to beat sooo many Koreans in a row. That's sooooo hard. I was able to show multiple times this year that I could beat multiple good Koreans in a row (HSC for example), in a single tournament, but the problem is I still had a few more to go.

You just discovered the [M] Gaming House, what do you think about it?

I like the house itself, but the food could be better. There was basically just one or two dishes every day and the food was left out all day, so it became kinda gross.

The tables used for the tournament area was really weird. The shape where we were sitting was kinda awkward. It's hard to explain. There was like an inwards circle where our keyboards etc. was meant to be. Very unconfortable for me, and the other players complained about it too. Was an enjoyable experience overall though. That's for sure!

What do you think about your Progaming year 2013?

No regrets. I have a lot of good memories, and I made a lot of good runs in tournaments. I wish I could've done a little bit better in some tournaments but overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Do you think that your beginning with Millenium were difficult?

Yes and no. For the most part no. I believe the communication could've been a little better at times. From me aswell as the other way around. Something to work on! I'm very happy to be a part of Millenium though! There were a few broken promises on both ends, but I'd rather not get into that now. As I said I'm pretty happy right now, all the small things will be dealt with.

Have you felt too much expectation from the fans or Millenium's staff?

Millenium is very different from most other teams. They have a lot of purely french fans, that mostly just use the Millenium website or other french sites, rather than teamliquid.net or reddit. It can be a little harder to communicate to them, but I do want them to know that I appreciate all fans equally! :)

Do you have a lot of relationship with your teamates, have you been well integrated?

Yeah definitely. Would be nice with another Protoss though! We have so many Terrans :D. A foreigner Protoss I can talk to, someone on my level like Grubby.

We know that you switched from dotA because you generally prefer individual leagues, so do you feel concerned by clanwars, do you like them?

Clan wars are « okay ». I prefer individual leagues still, but I don't mind playing Clan Wars once in a while. It can definitely be fun too.

Dayshi said last month that he will be glad to see a true coach for the team. Do you agree with him, would it be a great add ? What do you think about current's organisation?

Llewelys is very nice, and he wants the best for the team. However it would be nice if we had someone like him, but someone who was less busy. He's very busy with things like the Millenium webTV and stuff. So sometimes it's hard for us players to get things done. It happens a little slowly. D:

You will soon travel to Finland for Asus Rog with ForGG. You will face players like Jaedong or HerO. What do you expect for this tournament ?

I expect to do my best, and to have fun. I don't rate it as high as WCS, but I will do my best ofcourse. :) Last Asus ROG I went to, in Finland, I had a lot of fun! We played a lot of Arcade games after we were knocked out of the tournament. Harstem, TLO, PiG, TargA, MC and a few others. ^_^ I hope some of them will be there again !

Many people are asking if you are gonna stream again!

Yes! I will start streaming again very soon! I wanted to take a break from streaming in December, since there weren't that many tournaments. I think it's important to take a small break once in a while. (I still played quite a bit, just less than usual.) :) Streaming can be quite stressful. To interact with the viewers, and know that everybody is watching you + your gameplay for a long time. But as I said, I will start very soon again! FOR AIUR

How is it to play Protoss nowdays, while everyone say that Protoss are imba? Is Sc2 balance ?

It feels very bad when everybody is saying those things, especially when the people talking don't understand what "balance" even means. The game is balanced, for the most part. There are a few things I would like to be changed, but overall the better player usually wins. Protoss players work just as hard as Terran and Zerg players overall.

Are you going to move to France or the Gaming House this year?

Yes. I am going to France in a week. I will stay at the house for 2 weeks before going to Finland for Asus ROG.

What can we wish you for this new year?

That I win WCS? : D Yeah, as long as I get enough to live it's fine. Health and happiness is more important! ^_^

Thanks for this interview, you can conclude!

Thanks for the interview Maxime! And thank you to everyone that supports me! I will try to show you good games and not to let you down in future tournaments! (heart)

Many thanks to Corto for his translation
